BINTULU: The Summer Shopping Mall – developed by Tetap Majumas Sdn Bhd (Tetap Majumas) – is strategically located at the trunk access bridging Kuching and Samarahan Division.

Launched in October last year, the project would be offering a total of 234 retail units comprising a wide range of trade mix that would include hypermarket, departmental store, retails, entertainment, lifestyle, as well as food and beverage outlets.

“The Summer Shopping Mall offers an array of goods and services to please and pamper the needs of the shoppers, from fashion, entertainment, arts and culture to local delicacies and international gourmets,” Tetap Majumas said in a statement.

Expected for completion by the end of next year, the mall would be the first and the largest in Kota Samarahan, becoming a new landmark surrounded by mass residential and commercial areas, as well as those of healthcare, university and colleges.

“So far, the response has been great and the tenancy of the mall is approximately about 60 per cent confirmed so far,” said complex manageress Delia Goh to The Borneo Post.

“As for our anchor tenant, it will be Servay Hypermarket – a well known and established chain retail brand with some 17 outlets operating throughout East Malaysia. The hypermarket will be the first in Kuching.

“Due to the positive response, we will be launching our Phase Two development aimed at making the mall fully equipped with the most complete of facilities, as well as a one-stop commercial and lifestyle hub in town where you have everything under one roof,” added Goh.

She also highlighted that the developer would be offering investors up to three years guarantee returns of 18 per cent and free maintenance fees.

Tetap Majumas will be participating in the Sarawak Housing and Real Estate Developers’ Association (Sheda) ‘Home and Property Roadshow 2011’ beginning today until October 13 at ParkCity Everly Hotel, from 9am to 9.30pm.

“For this roadshow, we will be offering over 100 retail units from Phase Two to buyers whereupon for those who have confirmed their sales at our booth during the roadshow, we are giving free legal fee and memorandum of transfer as well as free stamp duty on sales and purchase agreement,” Goh said.
