Job requirements
- Minimum SPM or equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience in security, safety, or related field preferred.
- Retired army or other uniformed service personnel will have an added advantage.
- Fit and able to stand or patrol for long periods.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and act quickly in emergency situations.
- Willing to work on shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
Job Responsibilities
- Patrol the mall premises regularly to ensure safety, security, and order.
- Control access points and verify identification when necessary.
- Respond promptly and appropriately to emergencies, incidents, or accidents.
- Provide assistance and customer service to shoppers, tenants, and visitors.
- Enforce mall rules, safety regulations, and emergency procedures.
- Prepare accurate incident reports and daily activity logs.
- Assist law enforcement officers and emergency responders when required.
- Support crowd control and traffic management during peak hours, sales, or special events.
- Conduct routine inspections of fire extinguishers, emergency exits, and safety equipment to ensure compliance and readiness.
- Report any hazards, suspicious activities, or security breaches immediately to the supervisor.
