KOTA SAMARAHAN: The ‘Karnival Tok Bok Nyo 3.0’ event kicked off today at The Summer Mall until this Sunday (Sept. 27).
The carnival aims at engaging the community, particularly youths, through activities spanningeducation, career development, entrepreneurship, heritage, sports and recreation.

State Legislative Assembly’s Deputy Speaker, Datuk Idris Buang, said activities at the carnival serve as a healthy outlet that helps guide young people toward a more successful and organised life.
“Currently, the world faces many problems that can push people towards negative paths such as drug abuse, alcohol consumption and broken families.
“Hence such positive, community-driven activities held during the carnival help address stress and related challenges,” he said in his speech during the opening ceremony.
