New shopping mall for Kota Samarahan

SUMMER Shopping Mall is a new development in Kota Samarahan, which has a population of over 300,000, strategically planned by Tetap Majumas Sdn Bhd.

It will be a prominent landmark on Jalan Dato Mohd Musa adjacent to the mixed development of residential areas, commercial properties and universities in the township.

The three-storey mall will have total floor area of 500,000 square feet and a hypermarket and departmental store as anchor tenant.

There will be 234 retail outlets covering specialities, fashion and lifestyle, sports, food and beverage, bookstores, cybercafes, amusement centres, food court, a cineplex and ample parking space.

The mall, scheduled to open by the end 2012, will be a shopping haven and entertainment arena with a wide variety of products and services.

The shops are now open for sale or lease and individual shoplots range from 200 sq ft to 800 sq ft with a 99-year lease.

Investors can expect high return in the first three years and competitive rental rates in the following years.

Limited units are available for bookings following the soft launch at the end of last month.

Tetap Majumas will hold a three-day roadshow on the mall from Nov 12 to 14.
