Office Driver Cum Office Support

Job Description

Office Driver cum Office Assistant is responsible for driving and maintaining in proper condition of the company’s vehicle. Possess good driving record with ability to use modern navigation techniques and understanding of metropolis area. Responsible for providing administrative support and ensuring efficient operation of the department or function.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum SPM qualification.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in driving vehicles (e.g., jeeps and cars) in other organizations.
  • Good track record of safely driving vehicles and experience in general office administration duties such as visa processing, banking, etc.
  • Experience in carrying out various administrative tasks.
  • A thorough understanding of international organization rules and regulations for safe driving.
  • Excellent driving skill.
  • Good record keeping and reporting skills.
  • Good communication skills in English, Mandarin and Malay (verbal and written).
  • Computer skills that include the use of MS Office packages.
  • Basic mechanical/handyman skills.
  • The flexibility to work extra hours when requires, and be honest and reliable.
  • A client-oriented approach, high sense of responsibility, courtesy, tact, and the ability to work with people from different nationalities and cultural background.

 

Job Responsibilities:

(a) Office Driver

  • Serve as the office driver for our Managing Director.
  • On a daily basis, monitor the vehicle condition, repair needs and travel logbooks, and perform checks before operating the vehicle and notify the Managing Director of any technical problems that exist in the assigned vehicle.
  • Update logbooks and maintain clear-cut records of the vehicle movements, obtain signatures from the relevant users and indicate the purpose for which the vehicle was used.

 

(b) Office Assistant

  • Provide support to the office administrative functions, which include undertaking messenger tasks, clerical duties, purchasing office supplies, paying bills, photocopying, banking duties, and following up visa matters with the relevant clients/ministries.
  • Ensure that all office equipment (e.g, photocopy and fax machines) is in good working order. Any technical problems with the equipment should be reported to the Purchasing Department immediately.
  • Work under the genera supervision of the Managing Director and Purchasing team.
