Legal Officer

Job Requirements:

  • Possess a degree in LL.B (Bachelor of Laws)
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience, either in-house or private practice;
  • Excellent knowledge of corporate law and procedure (company secretarial qualification is an added advantage);
  • Excellent legal drafting and communications skills.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills, managing deadlines to meet stakeholders’ expectations;
  • Sound judgment and ability to analyse situations, facts and information, and full comprehension of external environment which influence Company’s business operations;
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills with effective communication at all levels of organization and ability to maintain strong relationships within various functions

 Job Responsibilities:

  • To provide legal advice/opinion on matters affecting the company.
  • Ensure the compliance to the rules and regulations relating to company requirement.
  • Drafting and vetting of legal documents / commercial agreements.
  • Monitoring of cases handled by external solicitors.
  • Trademark management and monitoring.
  • Ensures that all company communications, contracts, documents, filings and press releases undergo a legal review.
