Legal Officer
Job Requirements:
- Possess a degree in LL.B (Bachelor of Laws)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience, either in-house or private practice;
- Excellent knowledge of corporate law and procedure (company secretarial qualification is an added advantage);
- Excellent legal drafting and communications skills.
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills, managing deadlines to meet stakeholders’ expectations;
- Sound judgment and ability to analyse situations, facts and information, and full comprehension of external environment which influence Company’s business operations;
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills with effective communication at all levels of organization and ability to maintain strong relationships within various functions
Job Responsibilities:
- To provide legal advice/opinion on matters affecting the company.
- Ensure the compliance to the rules and regulations relating to company requirement.
- Drafting and vetting of legal documents / commercial agreements.
- Monitoring of cases handled by external solicitors.
- Trademark management and monitoring.
- Ensures that all company communications, contracts, documents, filings and press releases undergo a legal review.
